These terms apply when you visit this website or buy a product from Paperclip Studio ("I", "me", "my"). By buying or downloading a product, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't buy.
1. Who I am
Paperclip Studio is a small business based in India that makes spreadsheet templates and planners and sells them as digital downloads. Contact: paperclipstudio1@gmail.com.
2. What you're buying
A digital download. For Clearline Annual Budget, that is Excel files, Google Sheets files, a PDF guide and a license file, delivered as a single zip. Nothing physical is shipped. See the Delivery Policy.
The product is a spreadsheet template for personal use. It does calculations on the numbers you enter. It does not provide financial, tax or investment advice, and it does not hold or move money.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars. Checkout, payment processing and, where required, sales tax or VAT are handled by Gumroad, and its terms apply to your payment. Discounts and launch offers are limited and can end without notice. A discount applies only to the purchase it was applied to.
4. Personal-use license
When you buy, I give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the files for your own personal or household budgeting. You may:
- make copies for your own use, including a new copy each year;
- print pages for your own use.
You may not:
- share, resell, give away or upload the files, in whole or in part;
- use them in a product, course, template pack or service that you sell or offer to others;
- claim the design or the workbook as your own.
5. Ownership
I own the templates, designs, text and screenshots. Buying a product gives you the license above and doesn't transfer ownership of anything.
6. Refunds
You can ask for a refund within 7 days of buying. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
7. Not financial advice
The files are tools for planning and record keeping. They are not financial, tax, legal or investment advice. See the Disclaimer.
8. Compatibility and support
The files are made for Excel and Google Sheets. Features and appearance can differ between programs, versions and devices, and Excel's sheet protection does not carry over into Google Sheets. If something doesn't work, email paperclipstudio1@gmail.com and I'll help.
9. No guarantees
The products are provided "as is". I work to make them accurate and reliable, but I don't promise they will be free of errors or suit your particular situation, or that they will give you any particular financial result. You are responsible for the numbers you enter and for your own decisions.
10. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the products or this website, and my total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under law that can't be limited.
11. Acceptable use of this website
Please don't misuse this website, try to break or overload it, or use it for anything unlawful.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute can't be settled by talking it through, the courts of India will have jurisdiction, without affecting any consumer rights you have in your own country.
13. Changes
I may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. The terms in force when you bought apply to that purchase.
